MIXED BATHING.
INNOVATION AT HAMILTON. [BY TELEGRAPH CORRKSrGNDENT.] HAMILTON, Wednesday A request that die Hamilton Borough Council should permit mixed bathing at the municipal baths on Saturday afternoons was made to the council by a deputation from the South Auckland swimming centre to-night. It was stated that practically every other town permitted nixed bathing and that under the present conditions it was very hard that 'a man could not go to the baths with his wife or teach his daughter to swim. The request was granted.
