BUSH RAILWAY "ACCIDENT.
ENGINE LEAVES THE RAILS. [by telegraph—own correspondent.] MORKINSVILLE, Wednesday. An engine belonging to the Taupo Totara Timber Company left the rails while running between Lichfield anil Putaruru, on the company's line, at 4 p.m. yesterday. The engine turned a complete somersault. There was no train attached. The driver and shunter, the only" occupants, had a miraculous escape from death. Both men were thrown clear, and escaped with a few bruise-*. The engine was badly damaged Traffic on the line was temporarily suspended while workmen were engaged in removing the debris.
