A NEW LOCAL INDUSTRY.
I The Daylite Air Gas Company. Ltd., of Sydney, will give an effective* demonstration of the value and utilitv of their . plants for lighting, heating, and cooking, particularly for use in country homes, and superseding all known methods iu this respect, commencing on Thursday, November 27, at the rooms of Messrs. Smith and Halcombe, Auctioneers, Customs Street East, and continuing for some weeks. All those interested are invited to attend, especially farmers and manufacturers. It is intended to manufacture the Air Gas plants locally, and thereby establish an industry of importance to "New Zealand. Satisfied users of the plants in Australia, Fiji, etc., include the Colonial bugar Refining Company. Government institutes, and many country homes, business premises, etc. I The gas produced is non-explosive, has ! no smoke, no fumes, no smell. Its brilliancy is 25 per cent, greater than that o: coal gas, which it appears likelv to supersede to a large extent.
