GROANS FROM A COFFIN.

SENSATIONAL CHURCH INCIDENT. An incident which created no little excitement occured in a church in Dublin recently. Two women, after attending eight o'clock Mass in the church, informed the Carmelite community that during the service they heard moans proceeding from a coffin which lay in the mortuary pending interment. The superior communicated -with the police, and steps were taken to have the coffin opened. Meanwhile a large number of people, having heard the remarkable story, collected in anticipation of seeing a person saved from being buried alive. The services of a carpenter were requisitioned, and on the lid being removed it was found that the man lay exactly in the same position in which he bad been placed in the coffin without sign of life.
