UNDER 3000 IN ENGLAND.
CLEARING UP OPERATIONS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 18. Between 2000 and 3000 New Zealand soldiers remain in England. The majority of them are engaged in clearing up operations. The work is now practically completed. The men will return to New Zealand as opportunities occur.
