OBJECTIONS BY FARMERS.
REMOVAL TO BE CONSIDERED. [BT TStTCILpH.— ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. Replying to the Farmers' Union protest regarding the constitution of the Board of Trade in connection with the .inquiry concerning hides, the Prime Minister says he has looked into the matter. The time available for the selection of delegates to the conference was ..very short, and consequently there was no other course s»ut to «end invitations direct. There was no intention whatever of not giving the fullest consideration in every way to farmers in the matter. < Mr. Massey adds: "Your protest against the embargo on hide's being continued will I be carefully considered."
