WELLINGTON. Wednesday The investments of the Post Office Savings Hank are recorded in a return placed before Parliament .to-day. The total amount standing to the credit of all fpeti accounts, inclusive of accrued interest, on December 51 last. was £35.418.125.
The total nominal value of the securities standing in the name of the post-master-General mi account of the Post Office Savings Bank Fund on December 51. 1918. was £31.900.936, the cost price havng been £31.878,951.
The securities include a few small parcels of overseas Dominion securities? and some local government securities, hut most of the millions are invested in New Zealand Government debentures and Btpck.
