THE WEATHER.
FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE.
The fine weather at Auckland has been very consistent during the last week, and shows no indications of changing. For the last three! days the wind has been light from the south-east at Auckland, but has been stronger on the coajft. Considerable sea has been experienced, but the conditions were not reported as stormy. The barometer has been slowly ri&ing for soma days, and last night registered 30.15 in.
The following weather forecast wan issued by Mr. Clement L, Wragge at 7 p.m. yesterday :—" Generally fair to fine weather is expected to continue over the Auckland Province, and the Dominion generally, during the ensuing*4B hours, under high pressure, and prevailing winds between S.S.W. and E.3.E., with very cold nights inland. There are indications that the wind later will veer from southerly to northerly, heralding the approach of a new Antarctic disturbance, ' Ivion,' which may be expected to manifest itself early next week.
