COLLISION WITH A STUMP.
FARMER SUFFERS INJURY. A resident of Moumoukai, near. Clevedon, Mr. John P. McCall, aged 40 years, was admitted to the hospital last evening, suffering from painful injuries to one of his thighs. The injured man, -who •- is married and a well-known fanner of the district, came into collision with a large stump while riding a horse, and received a heavy blow in falling. He was attended By Dr. A. W. P. Brookfleld, of Papakura, but as the leg was badly swollen, and it was impossible to say whether any bones had been broken, the patient was brought into the hospital by motor-car.
