Journeymen tinsmiths are granted Is 7Jd an hour; the minimum wage for engineers is Is 7Jd; for journeymen, Is ,5Jd: for planers, shapers, s'otters, and borers the wage is Is 51 A; for stock cata'ogue work and rangeworkere tho wages are fixed at Is 6d and Is 4^d; for metal-workers and assistants the wages are Is 4Jd and Is 3Jd an hour. In each case a bonus of ifyd an hour is added to tho above rates, which are in conformity with the Court's recei.t memorandum regarding the basic wage. The new awards- come into force on May 12. The overtime clause is also altered, and minor amendments have been made in other awarda.
