CHURCHES OF CHRIST.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE CONTINUED. The conference of the Associated Churches of Christ of (he North Island and Nelson districts, was continued on Saturday. The Biblj. School session was held in the afternoon, an interesting feature being a demonstration by the primary clasp, led by Miss M. Taylor. Tho following committees were elected: —Bible School Executive: President, Mr J. W. Aytonj vice-president, Mr. A, W. Burnett; secretary, Mr. L. Palmer; treasurer, Mr. T. Ashbv; and Misses Patching, Oldfi&ld, and Mr. Day. Advisory Board, Misses Taylor, Perkins, Vickery, and Pryne, and Messrs. C. Downey, \V. More, and F. Evans. A paper was read by Mr. F. J. Marshall, entitled " The Relationship of the Church to the Bible School."

Mr. Greenwood presided over the evening meeting A vocal item by the Richmond children, entitled " The Queen of Seasons," was greatly enjoyed. Messrs. More and Paternoster delivered addresses, and an appeal for donations resulted in the sum of £100 being secured. There were largo attendances at tho Ponsonby Road Chapel yesterday. Mr. R. Gebbie presided at tho morning service, and an address was delivered by Mr. Phillips. In the afternoon addresses were given by Mr. Marshall and Mr. Paternoster, and in the evening by Mr. Dickson.

Tho conference will be concluded to-day, when a picnic will be held.
