REV. R. B. S. HAMMOND.
Two distinguished Prohibition leaders arc arriving in Auckland by the Niagara this morning. The Hev. R, 13. 8. Jiammond is no stranger to Auckland, and will be most cordially received. He h<-.,'ds the position of president of the Australian Prohibition Council, and is accompanied by Mr. James Marion, the general secretary of the New South Wales Alliwce, They are proceeding to America to attend the International Prohibition Confederation, which will consider the proposal "to abolish harmful traffic in intoxicants throughout- the world." Messrs. Hammond and Marion will address a public meeting in the Town Hall Concert Chamber to-morrow (Thurrdiiy) evening, u!s eight o'clock.—(Advt.)
