At the last meeting of the Borough Council Mr. Todd expressed the hope thai Mr. McDonald would seek re-election, fayins that under the Mayor's guidance th affairs of the borough bad been efficiently conducted. AH the other councillors endorsed Mr. Todd's remarks. Mr. McTonald, in announcing his consent t-i nomination, reviewed the work of th > council, which ho claimed was one < £ efficiency and economy. He said that th >. bank overdraft had been reduced by aboa> £1000 during his term of office. The Mayor made reference to the valuable work of the town clerk, Mr. W. {J, Dennioon. .
