Hart, gunsmith, died to-day at the advanced age of 81 years, and Mr. William H. Potts died yesterday. Mr. Potts was chairman of the Thame.* Harbour Eoard. He was born at Belfa;. in 1843, and arrived in Victoria in 1853, and came to New Zealand three year; later. Hp was one of the pioneers of th-> Thames yoldfields. Mr. Potts was an oM volunteer officer, holding the rank of captain, and was for many years in comman-'. of the Thames Navals. When the volunteers were disbanded he retired and re--3 ceived a long-service medal Alt the tira > 1 of his death he was secretary of th.) 3 Thames Jockey Club. He had been ailing 3 for some months.
