MAORI SPORTS CARNIVAL.
A Maori sports meeting and carnival will bo held at tho Maori pa, Orakei. today, to welcome home returned soldiers in the district. Included on a good programme will be Rarotongan " hulas " and songs, and bakas of welcome, poi dances and novelty events. Sports will be held! for which post entries will be received. Ferry steamers will run to Orakei at quent intervals.
