WEST END CLUB.
THE KOHN SHIELD,
The annual race for the Kohii Shield will be held off the clubhouee of the West End" Rowing Club on Saturday afternoon. Nino crews will participate. The shield, which* is a valuable one, was donated by the lata Mr. Adolph Kohn, for annual competition! among the members of the club, and in ad J dilion the winning crew will each receive al medal. The following are the competing l crews, the stroke's name being mentioned! first in each instance:— First Heat.—Byan, Cossey, Salter, South;' Trevarthen. Norden. T. Gray. O'Connell; 1 D'Audney, J. Verran, Kirkwood, Frost. ■ Second Heat.—Bigelow, McNamara, Cowl-" rick, Finnigan; Pooley, Collins, Elliott, H. Gray; B Culpan, Jones, Brady, Kenny. Third Heat.—Hunter. Swanson, Wheeler, Morgan; Jerrom, A. Verran, Visooe, Whit* combe: Beamish, W. H. Conway, Atlrin, G, Conway.
