SOLDIERS' HOSTEL DAY.

STREET COLLECTION TO-DAY.

Stalls have been erected in Queen Street in preparation for the street collection to be taken up to-day in aid of the Returned Soldiers' Hostel. Several returned soldiers will take an active part in assisting to raise funds. It is hoped to receive at least £500 by this effort. Contributors will receive something for their money in a chance in a guessing competition or in the purchase of some useful article at a stall, and all will bo expected to wear " Soldiers' Duty Badges.".
