MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD
i Th« Mount Boskill Road Board met on ' Tuesday eve;.ins, Mr. J. Peet presiding. The clerk stated that £734 had .been received in rates, leaving £1770 still to be collected. The Public Works Department intimated ; that Mr. F. K. Hunt,' 8.M., had been appointed a commissi-") to inquire into the question of apport ng the cost of the maintenance of a . .tion of the Great North Road, Blake Street, and a portion of the New North Road, in the Avondale district. The board's representative will i be appointed after the date of the inquiry , has been fixed. The chairman, Mr. G. E. Tarraley, was j appointed V) represent the board in the tour of inspection of the Horahora and I Arapuni, on November 27, in connection with the proposed development of the hydro-electric schemes and election of hydroelectric plants in the North Island.
