BOXING COMPETITION.
SOLDIERS FROM NARROW NECK. A: BWtrae tournament between members of the Maori, Fijian, nud Earotongan contingents at -; Narrow Neck camp, was held last evening in the Devonport parish hall. The competitors showed great keonncs3 for the spoil, and Bom* good bouts were witnessed. Private A. Saunders (Fiji) gave the best exhibition, and well deserved his win in . the middle-weights. Corporal Miller (Fiji), who won the heavy•v.-eight competition, contested an (inhibition omit with Sergeant Cowan, th« champion of Earotonga, who is a quick, alert, hard-hitting boxer. Mr. F. Burns was referee.
