The Mount Albert Borough Council met last aight, the M».yor, Mr. T. B. Clay, presiding. A letter from the Mount Eden Borough Council dealing with work ii, George Street, was referred to tho Works Committee. The Mayor reported that the financial nosition, as at September 80. wj,s very satisfactory. The imm of .£4735 had been allocated, and on the half-year's working there w&s a credit baknoe of £51 10s. It was decided to support the Newm«kot Borough Council's wauest that the inwardbound Mam Trunk express stouhl step at Newmarket on Sundays. * "
