The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports:— At Palmcrston on Thursday we had , a small yarding of both sheep and cattle Bidding was dull and in favour of buyers. Ewes in lamb, 82a Gd, 37s 6d; store ewes, 158 3d; yearling heifers, £4155; 2-year empty shorthorn heifers, £8 15s; empty cows, £9 12s lOd; cows in calf, £10. At Feilding on Friday we had a far yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep sold at lato rates, with the exception of hoggets, which were slightly easier. , Young cattle and empty cows showed an improvement. Fair hoggets, 20s to 259 6d; good wether hoggets, 33s 2d 4-year «wes,' with 100, por cent, lambs. 366 6d; email yearling heifers, £3 2s; small cows with calves, £4 18s; low store cows, £5 15s; dairy cows, £7 16s, £8 10s, £10.
