From Gisborne she is to go to Greymouth to load timber for Australia, The Ihumata is at present loading a cargo of coal at Newcastle for Auckland. The barque Rothsay Bay, en route from San Francisco to Auckland, via Timaru, should put in an appearance at -any time now. She left Timaru on Friday, September 20, with the balance of her oil cargo, consisting of 1500 cases. After discharge she is to load here for San Francisco. Mr. W. Archibald is the local agent for the vessel. Tho To Anau arrived from Timaru at midday on Saturday, and berthed at the King's Wharf to discharge her cargo of produce. She is to sail for Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, and Bluff to-mbrrow. The cargo steamer Tarawera left Sydney on Thursday with a general cargo for Auckland. She is due hero on Wednesday. Owing to Captain Sullivan's prolonged illness, Captain McLeod. of tho Clansman, will take command of tho Wakalere to-day Ho is to remain there until Captain Sullivan resumes duty. Qn the trip of tile Clansman from Russell on Friday night a number of passengers assembled in the saloon and tendered a farewell to Captain McLeod. MrA.
