SALES OF WORK.
A sale of work in aid of the ctyirch funds was held in St. George's parish hall, Epsom, yesterday afternoon and evening. The bazaar was opened by Mrs. Nelson George, after the Rev. W. Beatty had made a few preliminary remarks. There was a good attendance, and good business was done at the various stalls. A musical programme was presented during the afternoon and evening.' A sale of work was opened in the Church of the Epiphany parish hall yesterday afternoon by Mrs. A. W. Averill. The attendance was good, and fast sales were transacted •on the 10 stalls. Mr. Eiigel's band was in attendance, and played some excellent selections. There were numerous competitions and games. The bazaar will bo continued this afternoon and evening.
