Crow. He received a number of publij : l\ and private ', deputations yesterday. Mr. . ] Hemes, who is staying at the Northern )'. Club, will leave this morning for Rotorua, .■:', ( and will proceed to Whakatane to-morrow,. in order to be present at the unveiling of '■? a monument at Ruatoki, in memory of th» . late Maori chief Kcreru.
