An Italian official report states:— forded the Chiese in the Daone Valley, and surprised a large enemy party, of which we killed some and took others prisoners. The French deeply penetrated a strong point, on Mount Sisemol, destroying or capturing tho garrison. In raids further east we inflicted heavy losses.""
