JULY'S HUGE RECORD.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 9.
It is officially announced that the July launchings in American yards totalled 67 steel ships of 435,244 dead weight tons, 53 wooden ships of 187,000 derid weight tons, and three composite ships of 11,000 dead weight tons. In tho same period 41 vessels of 135,052 dead weight tons were completed, of which 36 of 117,052 dead weight tons were steel and five wooden of 18,000 dead weight tons. The launchings exceed the yearly output before the war.
