TRIBUTE TO EARL READING.
A. and N.Z. NEW YOKE, Aug. 9. The New York Times, in an editorial, emphasises the splendid work done in the United States by Earl Reading, the British Ambassador. It hopes that his coming visit to England will bo but a brief interruption to his extraordinarily useful and valuable labours. Lord Beading had shown remarkable genius for the solution of business problems, and was largely instrumental in the splendid success of the co-ordination between the British and American war efforts. j
