BRAZILIAN WAR SERVICE.
SOLDIERS MAY BE SENT.
FORCE FOR PALESTINE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.10 p.m.) NEW YORK. Aug. 7.
The Washington correspondent of the New York Times, commenting on a cablegram received from Rome, saying that the Brazilian Minister in Rome was going to Franco to greet Brazilian troops who have arrived on tho west front, says the report is not confirmed by tho Brazilian Embassy, where it is believed that tho report is erroneous. Tho Embassy has no knowledge of tho transportation of Brazilian troops to France. It is possible that the report refers to Brazilian sailors, as Brazi- j lian warships have been co-operating with the allied and American navies. There have been reports that Brazilian troops are preparing to go to Palestine to relieve British troops for the west front.
