RAILWAY ENGINE DESTROYED.

KAWAKAWA, Monday. A railway engine and engine-slied were destroyed by fire at Opua in the early hours this morning. The fire was discovered by a cleaner on going to get steam up, but before anything could bo done the building and the engine were destroyed. Another engine was sent from Whangarei and brought to-day's train south on time.
