AMERICANS REPULSE COUNTER-ATTACKS AT VAUX.
GERMAN REGIMENT PRACTICALLY ANNIHILATED. Australian and N.Z. (Received 10.50 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 5.
General Pershing, commander of the American troops in France, reports that practically an entire German regiment was annihilated .when Vaux was captured. A counter-attack was repulsed.
