WHALER'S GOOD FORTUNE.
NEW YORK, June 11. A New Bedford message states that two whalers, arriving to-day, reported meeting a submarine off Hatteras. Captain Goiv sales, of the schooner Nicholson, pleaded with the captain of the submarine that 'he loss of his vessel would mean bis ruin, nnd he was allowed'to proceed with his ship, which was laden with sperm oil. The submarine then headed for the schooner Ellen Swift, but before reaching her. ho sighted a steamer, which ho attacked and sank, with her entire crew.
