THE TRAMWAYS DISPUTE
THIRD COMMITTEE SET UP. SITTING TO BE HELD TO-DAY. A third committee, arranged under the Labour Disputes Investigation Act, by consent of the Acting-Minister for Labour, the Hon. W. H. Hemes, between the Auckland Electric Tramways Company and members of the Tramway Employees' Union, will meet this morning, commencing at ten o'clock in the conciliation commissioner's boardroom. The Hon. Geo. Fowlds received the necessary authority from the Minister yesterday to proceed with the conference, of which he will officiate as chairman. The representatives of the parties are the same as on the last committee. The company will be represented by Messrs. J. J. Walklate, general manager, F. E. de Guerrier and R. Turner, and the union by Messrs. Paul Richardson, president, P. Fraser and W. C. Wells.
