FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE. i The following weather forecast was issued ! by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at 7 p.m. yesI terday :— I " Pressure has still further increased I since last night, and the apex of the antij cyclonic crest this evening traversed the ! country between Auckland and WellingI ton. Another fine day seems assured, but ] the reaction is expected soon to set in, as i already advised, heralded by winds from ! east-north-east to north, with misty skies ! and a falling barometer. When the low i pressure comes in succession in the course, ■ nhnort certainly, of the present week, unsettled, squally and rainy weather should I be a permanent feature for some time to 1 come, in accordance with the dictum. | ' Long foretold, long last; short -notice, j soon past.' Meanwhile seas will be smooth | to moderate."
