ORPHANS' CLUB CONCERT.
The wintet course at the Leys Institute, > Ponsonby, ' will be opened on Thursday i next by a musical evening arranged by •. the Auckland Orphans' Club. The ( full orchestra of the club, under its conductor, \ Mr. G. F. Cater, will reader selections, while a vocal programme will be contributed by Messrs. W. Manning, A. Ripley, H. Piper, E. Peg C. D. Binningtos, B. Dellow, and A. Asbury. Mr. A. McElwain will give elocutionary items.
