WAITEMATA CLUB. Trial fours. Waateraata v. St. George's, were held tinder the auspices of the Waiiemata Boating Club on Saturday afternoon. Tho weather and water conditions were excellent. The first heat, between E Buckle 'stroke), A. Wolfgramm, W. Madden, 1. Gubb, B. Preston (cox), and C. Cairns (stroke). A. L. Lewis, G. Taylor, G. Kelly, R. Conway (cox), was a good race, the former winning by half a length. The second heat, between F. Herring (stroke), M Kronfeld, J. S. Weir, »P. Nelson. R. Nottingham (cox). . and J. Mayee (stroke), J. B. O'LoghHn. J. Kolly, R. Ansley, Conway (cox), was won by Herring, with a good length s lead. The : final was won by Herring's four. AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Rowing Club on Saturday hold invitation senior pairs for trophies presented by Mr, J. Carder, and presidents four! Three crews competed in the pair-oar event, which resulted:-Hemng (stroke), , Magee (Waiteraata), 1; Kee e (stroke), eming (Auckland) 2-, Barrett (stroke), Mcllwraith North Snore). 8.
