In tho House of Representatives, Mr. Boyd moved an amendment reducing tho amount of the Supply Bill as a protest; against defence administration. RfiCßtrmNQ STIMULATED. 100 VOLUNTEERS IN A DAY. (Rocd. 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY. April 15. A great stimulus lias been given to recruiting by a rally hold today, when 100 men volunteered. The Lord Mayor promised £600 to the first member of Captain Cnrmicliael's 1000 recruits to win the Victoria Cross, and £200 for the Brut D.C.M.
