The Food Controller is distributing 8 further 25 per cent, of the trade's Anril applications and also 50 per cent, of the applications from manufacturers of biscuits, etc. CEREALS. There is little or no change to date in the local grain market, Deliveries of wheat continue to bo made in fairly large Quantities, and all good milling is readily taken up, as is also good whole fowl wheat. Anything below the latter standard can only be disposed of at several penco per bushel below the maximum price. The market for oats is not quite so firm in view of the feet that better quality oats aro offering more freely in the South at a 'ower level of values. Oat sheaf continues to be in good demand at £5 15s to £6, at country stationc, for prime quality, down to £4 10s for inferior. There is a good demand for potatoes at £5 to £5 5s per ton at. country stations, as extra shipping space to Auckland is expected to m available in a week or 10 days. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. A, and N.Z.
