9 SOUTHERN AND AUCKLAND RATES [BT TELEGBAFIL—SPECIAL COKRESPONDENT.] WELLINQTON,*ThurBdfty. In view of the high prices ruling (or oaten chaff in Auckland, Mr. C. H. Poole has made inquiries regarding the prices being received by Southern farmers. To-day he obtained telegraphic assurance, through Southern members, that Canterbury farmers are now receiving equal to 14Ss to 150s a ton, f.0.b., sacks in, for full chaff of prime quality. Mr. Poole has submitted the figures to the Board of Trade for inquiry.
