GOLF.
CAMBRIDGE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Cambridge Golf Club was held on _ Monday evening, Mr. D. R. Caldwell presiding. Tho balance-sheet showed a deficiency of £13, an improvement to the extent of £14 on the uosition at tho ■ end of tho previous financial year In a verbal report the chairman referred to the fact that during the year llv club had lost two members by death, Dr. Roberts and Mr. Vincent Holbecho, the latter of whom had fallen in action. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as under:—President, Mr. D. R. Caldwell; vice-nreeider.t. Mr. A. H. Nicoll: captain. Mr. J. C. Sawcrs; ladies' captain, Miss Wells; green superintendent, Mr. J. C. Sawers: lion, secretary and treasurer. Mr A. H. Nieoll; committee, Messrs. G. Calvert, M. Wells, E. J. Wilkinson, W. H. Vicko". and B. S. Conner: handicappnra, Messrs. Nieoll, Wells, and Calvert; .ladies' committee, Mosdamos Nieoll, Taylor, Martyn, Mi9r.es Cox and A. Hally. Two new members were elected.
