PATRIOTIC TOURNAMENT. Play in the patriotic croquet tournament under the ausDicos of the Auckland Croquet Association, was continued yesterday. A grade names were continued on tho Remuera and Mount Hobson lawn!. In the semi-finals of the doubles competition Mrs. Squirrel and Mis. McLaughlin scat Mrs. Fcarnlcy and Mrs. Blackburn. Mrs. Smith and Mrs Brown beat Mrs. Harbutt and Mrs. Wilson. In the finals Mrs. Squirrel and Mrs. McLaughlin beat Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Brown. To-day at ten o'clock, on tho Rcmuera lawn. Mrs. McLaughlin will piny Mrs. Fearnley, Mrs. Arey will play Mrs. Squirrel, Mrs. Harvey will play Mrs. Brown, and Mr?. Muir will play Mrs, Swales, At eleven o'clock Mrs. Sommervillo will play • Mrs, Couttj, Mrs. Warren will play Mrs. Blackbum." Mrs. Smith will play Mrs. Nixon, and Mrs. Fullerton will play Miss Hesketh. At Mount Hobson lawn, at 10 a.m., Mrs. Harbutt will play Mrs. Gardner. Mrs. Coltman will play Mrs. Dalton. Mrs. Clarkeon will play Mrs, Evitt, and Mrs. Jones will play Mrs. Prime. In the B irrade another stapo was reached on tho Carlton lawns, the lawns playing keen and true. The final of tho B doubles will bo nlavcd at 2 p.m. to-day. when Mcsdames Pnckwood and Middleton will meet Mesdames Elack and Blenkinsoo. Tho B singles have completed tlireo rounds, and »1>« firm! will ti<k" nlnce this afternoon. The following competitors are Mill left in:--W»«danies Black, Fin*h, Mi'linKton. Hodrre, White, Perry, Mond ; e, Day, Middleton. Cowan. Miller, and Miss Blake. Tho either ball competition will be commenced at ten o'clock.
