"EPISTLE TO THE ROMANS."
The first of a series of lectures on the Epistle to tho Romans was delivered by Mr. George Aldridge last night in the Church of Christ, West Street. These epistles, said the speaker, were written between A.D. 52 and A.D. 58, during the period in which the events recorded in the Acts were taking place. Throughout a position of primacy was given to the Jews. Tho speaker proceeded to deal with the epistles ill sections, showing how frequently Paul spoke of things as "of God." In concluding an earnest address, Mr. Aldridge said that one remarkable development in the study of Scripture by critical students was the finding Hhat the books of tho Bible were "built" and that there was a definite structure and order peculiar to each book. The Book of Romans had a structure which was of great importance.
