LICENSING ELECTION.
■+> BAY OF ISLANDS RESULTS. [ht telegraph".—own* rORRESPONnENT.] KAWAKAWA. Wednesday. The Bay of Islands Licensing Election was divided into two tickets, the retiring members on one, and four candidates, supported by the New Zealand Alliance, on the other, with one free lance, Mr, R. T. Wrathall. All the retiring members wore; re-elected by substantial majorities. The names of the successful candidates, together with the voles they polled, are as follows: — Hartley, 738; Pearson, 729; Hall, 725; Goodhue, 682; Morgan, 656. The unsuccessful candidates were: — Lane, 519; Holder, 457; Hell, 435; Bissett, 422; Wrathall, 283.
