WELLINGTON. Wednesday. Tub Minister for Defence stated in the House of Representatives to-day that commanders of military districts, who had recently conferred in Wellington, had recommended that evening territorial parades in the country districts should Ibe discontinued. He intended to approve i of this recommendation, and to disconI tinue evening territorial and senior cadet I parades in the countvy. He did not proI pose to do away with cadet parades in the towns.
