A French communique states Our attack in Belgium has been successfully continued. Our infantry broke the <*nemy r resistance west of Steeneheek. and are making progress in conjunction with the British. They captured all the enemy positions, Considerable material was captured. The artillery is active in the regions of Laffaux and Flurtcbise, north of the Aisne. The Germans set St. Quentin Cathedral on fire. It was burning for several hours.
