ITALIANS STILL REMAIN IN EPIRUS.
PROCLAMATION OF MARTIAL LAW HINTED AT.
Australia* and N.Z. Cable. (Received 11 p.m.) ATHENS. July 23 Ihe Government has been notified that all allied troops have been withdrawn from Greece except those in the Salonika region and in Epirus, the north-western portion of Greece. Italian troops remain in Epirus, pending the result of the negotiations proceeding between the two countries.
Several Greek newspapers declare that the proclamation of martial law is imminent.
