Council of Workmen, Soldiers, and Peasants Delegates held an: a 1-night sitting, and passed a resolution stating that the country t hr ;; en d Wlth a militai debacle and internal anarchy, declaring that the State and the revolution were in danger, and proclaiming fhat the Government, in the interests of the safety of the revolution, be accorded unlimited power to re-establish the organisation of the army and public order.
The news from the provinces is good. A wireless message from Petrograd states that the Council of Workmen and Soldiers Delegates has issued a stirring proclamation, urging soldiers to stand firm. The proclamation adds: "The time has come for acting without hesitation. We acknowledge the Proton Government, with WhiCh lies the salvation of the I!;, 00 ; * e knowledge its unlimited authority and power, and those disobeying the Government . commands will be regarded as traitors and treated mercilessly. The ruin of the revolution spells ruin for all. Save the Fatherland
