M. Kerensky emerges stronger than ever from the crisis. The crew of every ship in the fleet has pledged loyalty to him, and he lias i, reived from J* provinces numerous addresses, expressing confidence in him, and declaring for strong measures against the extremists. (Hoc,:-.,, 1..-.0 p.m.! WASHINGTON, July 23. The I'otrograd correspondent of the United Press states that there is full evidence that the Germans financed the revolution. Hundreds of workmen and anarchists who have been arrested had their pockets bulging with money received from German agents. Lenin, the leader of Uir ,„.;„.,. agitation, has placed himself at the Government's disposal in connection with the commission of inquiry.
The I'otrograd correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that M. Tt-reshohrnko remains. Minister for Foreign Affairs, M. Tchernoff, Minister f.,r Agriculture, and M. Skobeloff, Minister for Labour in the Ken-risky Government, The effort to secure a balance between Socialists and non-Socialists failed. All non-Socialists refused to accept office. The Government is everywhere regarded as unsatisfactory. A strong national Government is demanded. M. Nekrasoff, who has been Minister for Railways, has now refused office, fearing a Programme of land nationalisation.
