MEETING OF. COMMITTEE.
The usual meeting of the Executive Committee was held at the Sports Club on Tuesday evening, Mr. R. H. Parton presiding. Mr. Baiter stated that he -would withdraw his resignation as secretary, and he was thanked for his decision. Mr. F. C. Atkinson was elected Auckland _ delegate to the New Zealand Hockey Association. A player from the Areta Club fourth grade team was reported by the referee controlling the AretaMount Eden senior match last Saturday for making offensive remarks in connection with the referee's decisions. After considering the case, the committee decided to suspend the player and warn him off the grounds for the rest of the season. It was resolved to play the following number of rounds in the various grades this season:—Senior grade, five; second, four; third, three; fourth, three; fifth, five. Pavilion fees are to be charged, as in previous years, at 12s per team, with a reduction to 6s per team for clubs which have their own sheds. The North Shore Club applied to have all its matches played on Devonport ground. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the appointments official, with instructions to grant the request as far as possible. Mr. R. H. Killip was granted permission to arrange for a team to visit Waihi and play a match against the local team. MATCHES FOR SATURDAY. Senior Grade: Areta v. University.
