THE RUGBY GAME.

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.

The weekly meeting: of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was held in the Amateur Sports Club rooms last night, Mr. F. J. Ohlson presiding. The referee in the University v. Railway senior match reported ordering off the field a Railway player for foul play. He also reported another Railway player for misconduct, both during and after the match. Both men were ordered to appear before the committee at next meeting, and to be suspended :n the meantime. It was decided to ask referees tti future to furnish their reports of players ordered off or persons reported otherwise, by the following Monday at latest, in order that the cases can be dealt with as promptly as Possible. The secretary of the Primary School section inquired for a suitable date or the use of Eden Park for the continuance of the jersey fund gala. The matter was deferred until next meeting. Teams playing at Eden Park are advised to consult Saturday's HERALD to see whether matches set down for that ground will be played. MATCHES FOR SATURDAY. MEETING OF EXECUTIVE.

The Executive Committee of the Auckland Rugby League met last evening, there being present: Messrs. R. Benson, chairman. R. Pollock. W. Frost, N. Culpan, T. Fielding. W. Ross, L. McDonald. A. W. Tatton. T. Bull, and R. Spinley. The transfer of J. Wilson from Otahuhu to City was approved. Mr. Frost's nomination to the junior advisory board was accepted. With regard to the proposal from the waterside workers to play a team having a bye each Saturday, the suggestion was accepted, and it was decided to effect a special insurance scheme to cover the matches. The following fixtures were arranged for Saturday—
