NEW ORDER IN GREECE.

The following appeared in our Third Edition yesterday.

ATHENS, July 2.

Greek troops to-day took the oath of allegiance to the new King at an imposing ceremony in the presence of M. Venizelos. Subsequently a Requiem Mass was celebrated in the cathedral for soldiers killed on the Macedonian front. On returning to his hotel M. Venizelos was enthusiastically acclaimed. In a speech from the balconyhe announced that the army had sworn its allegiance, thus achieving the longdesired union of the two parties in Greece. General Papal has asked to be relieved of his command. He issued a farowell order exhorting the troops to remain fraternally united and to serve their King and country. The various allied controls, except over the telegraphic services* will ceasa .this -' week.
